Silver Telly AwardThe VETS Program video, produced for the US Dept. of Labor, received the prestigious Silver Telly Award in the 32nd Annual Telly Awards Competition.  The Silver Telly Council, the judging and oversight body, is comprised of top industry professionals. 

The Telly Awards receive more than 13,000 entries annually from the finest ad agencies, production companies, TV stations, cable companies, interactive agencies and corporations in the world.

Carlisle Barracks - Women's History Month

Major General Tony Cucolo, the 49th Commandant of the U.S. Army War College, introduces the 2013 celebration of Woman’s History Month at Carlisle Barracks and the U.S. Army War College.

Gen Cucolo stresses the contribution of Women in the U.S. Army and details the schedule of the activities for Woman’s History Month.
USAHEC - Recreating Yorktown's Redoubt 10
MPGS
COL Matt Dawson, Director of AHEC, recounts the Battle of Yorktown while standing near an AHEC replica of a British Redoubt used at Yorktown. The battle resulted in a decisive victory by a combined force of American Continental Army troops led by General George Washington and French Army troops led by the Comte de Rochambeau over a British Army commanded by British Lieutenant General Lord Cornwallis. The culmination of the Yorktown campaign, the siege proved to be the last major land battle of the American Revolutionary War in North America, as the surrender by Cornwallis, and the capture of both him and his army, prompted the British government to negotiate an end to the conflict.
USAHEC - WWII Letters on Records

Mr. John Kurash, the Curator at the U.S. Army Heritage and Education Center at Carlisle, PA, narrates a short video on the recording of letters on records from servicemen and women to their loved ones during World War II.

These recordings were designed and built by radio stations around the United States and sponsored by many leading corporations. The recordings received in a specially designed envelope, allowed families to hear their love ones voices on the recordings.
